PORVORIM: Reacting to the three assault cases that rocked Calangute, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today said that such incidents won’t be tolerated.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant was addressing the media after chairing the cabinet meeting.
“Held meeting with Home Dept, such incidents will not be tolerated; 40% police force will be deployed for night patrolling along coastal belts,” said Sawant.
Sawant also said that no outdoor music after 10 pm will be allowed while indoor music where permissions are obtained will be permitted.
“Goa state is ranked highest in detection of crime rate, our detection rate is 95%. Police departments are now focusing on controlling crimes,” said Sawant.
Sawant also said that the transfer process of police officers at all levels of the hierarchy will be completed in the next 8-10 days.
Chief Minister said that has said that action would be taken against all the culprits and none would be spared.
