PANJIM: Goa Forward Party (GFP) President Vijai Sardesai today has said that after Cannabis being part of Swayampurna Goa,now CM Pramod Sawant to get Swayampurna Matka which will be operated by ruling party.
“After Cannabis ,New Matka to be operated by ruling party to be part of Sawant’s Swayampurna Goa Plan. The CM has himself confirmed this development today saying the file was moved but no decsion has been made” said Vijai
He said, “If the file was moved that it self shows that he had an intention,”
Sardesai further said that the Sawant led govenrment wants to finish the younger generation and wants to make Goa as the vices hub. He said that if cannabis cultivation is started then Goa will have a law and order situation.
“If the so called cultivation is for medical pruposes, who will be the watchdog and does governemnt have a plan in place for this,” Sardesai questioned
GFP President also said that if cannabis in Goa is cultivated will there be quality tourists come to Goa?
Sardesai has also alleged that Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant also has held meetings with top matka kingpins from outside state.
Meanwhile, CM Dr Pramod Sawant confirmed of file movement on cannabis cultivation for medicinal purpose; however says has not granted any permission.
“Just because there is file movement does not mean govt has given permission,” said CM Sawant
