PANAJI: Baba Ramdev today said that cancer cases in the country have increased after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Baba Ramdev was addressing the gathering at Miramar Beach during the three-day-long Yoga camp starting on Saturday.
“Cancer cases in the country have increased after the COVID-19 pandemic, People have lost their sight, their hearing capabilities,” said Baba.
He further said that it was a dream of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi that India should be the global centre of wellness.
“It is also my dream that Goa should be the centre of wellness, through wellness and spiritual tourism, the tourists who come to Goa should also come here to cure their Blood pressure, sugar, thyroid and cancer,” he added.
He also said that he would first make people free of medicines and then of ailments like hypertension, diabetes, thyroid, and asthma.
“People whose heart is 90% affected will fully recover and not require any medication after practising the yoga I will be teaching over the next three days and after living a Sanatan lifestyle,” Ramdev said.
He claimed to have rid of people who required lung, kidney, and liver transplants for their ailments.
The yoga camp will be held at Miramar beach during the day, while there will be spiritual music sessions by singer Kailash Kher in the evenings at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee stadium at Taleigao.
