CANACONA: Narli Poornima was observed and celebrated with great enthusiasm by All Goa Kshatriya Pagi Samaj at Saleri Khola on Thursday.
Canacona MLA and GLA Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar, Quepem MLA Altone D’Costa, Former Deputy Chief Minister Chandrakant Kavlekar, Zilla Panchayat (Khola) Member Shanu Velip, Khola Sarpanch Ajay Pagi, took part in the narli poornima celebrations held at Vithal Rakhumai devasthan Temple, Saleri.

All Goa Kshetriya Pagi Samaj (AGKPS) President Diwakar Pagi, Secretary Rudresh Namshikar and Sameer Kankonkar were also present conducting various traditional rituals. Vitthal Rakhumai Devasthans, Saleri (Khola) President Sunil Pagi presided at the function held on this occasion.
After a welcome and Introductory speech by Diwakar Pagi, the speeches of the attendees were intially held in the auditorium of Vitthal Rakhumai temple, Saleri.
The program was moderated by Pankaj Namshikar while Rudresh Namshikar proposed vote of thanks.
Khola Sarpanch Ajay Pagi submitted a list of mentioning various requests and demands of Khola village, besides the proposals of the AGKPS.
Ex-ZP(Khola) and Khola panch Krishna Pagi conducted puja of the Narl(Cocunut), worshiped and the attendees later offered coconuts to the sea.
