CANACONA: A 3 year old Girl from South Delhi drowns in a Swimming Pool at a Resort at Agonda.
Parents of Fatima, aged 03 years brought her lifeless body as a case of drowning at Agonda to Community Health Centre (CHC), Canacona where doctor on duty declared her brought dead.
On enquiry Canacona police found that the family of Imdad Afroz Saizy, residents of South Delhi with their- Child Fatima , 03 years old went for lunch at a Resort in Agonda and during the lunch, the child without the knowledge of parents went in the swimming pool, and accidentally drowned in the swimming pool water.
Thereafter, said deceased was shifted for medical treatment by her parents, wherein their child was declared brought dead by the doctor on duty of CHC Canacona.
Canacona police Further conducted a scene of unnatural death occurrence panchnama and the dead body was referred to South Goa District Hospital, Margao for PM examination. The Police Surgeon conducted an autopsy over the dead body and certified the cause of death as “Asphyxia as a result of drowning in water”. Dead body of the deceased handed over to family, for final rites, informed Canacona police.
Canacona police registered the unnatural death U/s 194 BNSS 2023 and further enquiry is conducted by PSI Vishal Velip of Canacona Police Station.
