PANAJI: In the race ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in Goa, a political front has been launched by Goencho Avaaz.
The political party has been launched to place the interests of Goa and its people at the forefront.
Addressing the media, GA Convenor Capt Variato said that the party is committed to preserving the unique identity of the state, promoting unity in diversity, upholding democratic values, and ultimately seeks to provide economic prosperity to its people, even while safeguarding its environment and traditional occupations through sustainable development.
“In service of its fellow Goans, the Party will foster a spirit of togetherness as we all work together to create a Goa that we can be proud of. We urge our fellow Goans who share the party’s hope and vision for a better tomorrow to join us and make their voices count,” said Varioto
He further said that Goencho Avaaz is in the unique position of truly understanding the day-to-day travails that are faced by the average Goan. Although we are fledgling in our political experience, we are all bound by a common love for Goa and a responsibility to do our bit to preserve and protect Goa for our future generations.
He added, “As we navigate this new path, we thank everyone for their unwavering support in our fight to keep Goa intact. Now is the time that Goa needs us all and we urge passionate and right thinking Goans to join us on this journey to save our motherland,”
Meanwhile, Goencho Avaaz said that the power of the people after all, should never be under estimated.
