Valpoi: An airgun firing incident was reported at the Housing Board area in Podoshe, Valpoi, triggering concern among residents.
Responding to the call, Valpoi Police reached the site and recovered a cartridge from the spot.
Police have arrested one suspect in connection with the firing and taken him into custody for interrogation.
This is the second such incident in the area within a month. In the earlier case, a worker was injured after being struck by an airgun shot, creating fear among locals and raising questions over safety in the neighbourhood.
Police are probing whether the two incidents are linked and are increasing vigilance in the area to prevent further disturbances.
