Minister for Skill Decelopment Vishwajit Rane has directed that all Industrial Training Institutes be wi-fi enabled.
Rane saud this while addressing a virtual meeting with principals of respective ITIs along with Director, DSDE Dipak Desai.
“I have instructed the Principals to conduct assessments to understand where the dept. can takes up initiatives in collaboration with Self-Help groups, conduct outreach programmes with the Health & WCD Dept,” he said.
He said his government aims to create an environment for students where professional agencies will be taken on board to train the students, an MoU for the same has already being signed.
“Our focus area also lies in digitizing student records and performance for seamless recruitment. During the VC, I have also directed all the principals to have WiFi enability at all the ITIs for better internet connection,” he said.
He said the Department of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship are working tirelessly to create vibrancy in imparting Skills and creating better employment opportunities for our youth.
