PORVORIM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today announced that all pending Laadli Laxmi applications will be cleared by March 31.
CM Sawant was replying to a question raised in the Goa Legislative Assembly.
“All married case applications of Laadli Laxmi will be cleared by March 31, 2023. We are working on this timeline,” said CM Sawant.
He further said that 13,000 applications for Griha Aadhaar would also be cleared by March 2023.
The state government currently has 42,000 Ladli Laxmi and Ghriha Aadhaar applications pending before it.
Besides, 21,000 housing aid beneficiaries have not received the money in their accounts for various reasons.
Payments to most of the beneficiaries have been stalled due to a lack of money by the government. 19,000 Ladli Laxmi applications have been turned down due to a lack of money.
The money for 204 housing aid beneficiaries who are government employees in the family has been kept pending.
