Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Gujarat on March 7-8, 2025, is centered around empowering women. The ‘Lakhpati Didi Sammelan’ on March 8 will be a pivotal moment in this endeavor, coinciding with International Women’s Day. For the first time in India, an all-women police force will handle the security for this high-profile event. The team will consist of over 2,100 constables, 187 sub-inspectors, 61 police inspectors, and senior officers, including an Inspector General of Police and an Additional Director General of Police.
