VERNA: An ambulance transporting newborn babies to the South District Hospital in Margao met with an accident after colliding with a car on the Verna Bypass Road.
The incident occurred while the ambulance was en route to the hospital, raising immediate concern over the safety of the infants on board.
However, in a relief to all, no injuries were reported in the mishap.
All newborn babies, along with the medical staff accompanying them, were confirmed to be safe.
