PANAJI: Goa BJP Chief Sadanand Tanavade today said that Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address a public meeting on May 3 at Mapusa.
While addressing a press conference, Tanavade added that the BJP’s poll campaign is going well in the state and the top party leaders are all set to visit Goa in the coming days.
“Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Goa on May 3; Also another meeting will be held at Ponda on May 2,” said Tanavade
Tanavade said that this meeting would garner overwhelming support for us. So far, the response has been very good, and this meeting is expected to give our candidates the needed impetus,” said Tanavade.
He said that so far they have received good feedback from people. “Our campaign is doing well. We are concentrating on small meetings,” he said.
Tanavade, also expressed confidence that his party would be winning both Lok Sabha seats in the state.
“We are getting good responses from across the state,” Tanavade said.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fielded Union Minister Shripad Naik from North Goa and industrialist Pallavi Dempo from South Goa.
