PANJIM: Anti Narcotic Cell (ANC) today caught Eduardo Pinto (29), in possession of suspected ganja, worth Rs 2.50 lakhs during a raid at Diwar.
According to the police, the staff of Anti Narcotic Cell Police Station, Panaji Goa led by PSI Pritesh Madgaonkar along with two Panchas acting on information conducted a narcotic raid between 22.40 hrs of 24/09/2020 to 01.00 hrs of 25/09/2020 at Garage belonging Eduardo Pinto, Inan Waddo, Near lord Redemptor Chapel, Piedade, Diwar Tiswadi Goa and caught accused Eduardo s/o Mario Pinto, age 29 years, occ- Pvt service, R/o H. No 108, Inan Waddo, Near lord Redemptor Chapel, Piedade, Divar Tiswadi Goa for being in illegal possession of dried greenish color leafy substance suspected to be Ganja weighing 2.5 kgs worth Rs. 2,50,000/- approximately.
In n this regards registered Cr. No.11/2020 u/ s 20 (b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act-1985 at Anti Narcotic cell Police at 05.30 hrs (.The accused person is placed under arrest on 25.09.2020 at 05.40 hrs after observing all Supreme Court guidelines.
Further investigation is in progress with PSI Rohan Madgaonkar of ANCPS.
