PANAJI: The Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC), along with their skilled K9 unit is conducting proactive drug checks at Goa’s multiple railway stations and beaches contributing to keeping public spaces safe and free from illegal substances.
The ANC are not only conducting regular raids and seizing substantial quantity of narcotics but have now conducting random and surpirse checks of establishments especially in the coastal belt and also at major transportation hubs like railway station, bus stations, etc. targeting interstate buses and trains which are the main routes for bringing natcotics into the state.
The ANC are conducting such random syrprise checks along with narcotics sniffer dogs of Goa police. The ANC are now keeping stringent surveillance on not only peddlers and suppliers but also on suspected consumers.
