Anjuna: Acting on multiple complaints from residents, PSI Viraj Naik and his team from Anjuna Police Station have taken decisive action against a rented sports car that had been disturbing the peace in the area.
Locals had reported that the vehicle, often hired by tourists, generated excessive noise during early morning hours, causing inconvenience and disrupting daily life.
Despite repeated warnings, the issue persisted for nearly six months.
Following sustained public complaints, the Anjuna Police tracked down the vehicle and have now initiated legal proceedings against those responsible.
Police assured that similar action would be taken against any vehicles or individuals found violating noise or traffic regulations in the coastal belt.
