ANJUNA: Anjuna Police have registered an offence against a local house owner for failing to report the accommodation of a foreign national to the Foreigner Regional Registration Office (FRRO) as mandated under immigration laws.
Based on a complaint filed by PSI Ramesh Harijan of Anjuna Police Station, it was revealed that between August 18, 2025, and October 29, 2025, the accused, Kamlakant Banaulikar (56), son of Radhakrishna Banaulikar, residing at House No. 386-A, Gublawaddo, Oxel, Siolim, Bardez-Goa, had rented out his premises to a foreign national, Jude Boussari (44), a citizen of Cameroon, without submitting the mandatory online C-form to the FRRO, Panaji.
Police stated that the act constitutes a contravention of provisions of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025.
Further investigation into the case is being carried out by PSI Saish Kinlekar of Anjuna Police Station.
