ANJUNA: Anjuna’s residents have expressed their displeasure with the constant noise pollution that plagues their neighbourhood. Locals voiced their grievances against the North Superintendent of Police (SP) of Goa during a recent grievance meeting held at the Anjuna Police Station on Wednesday.
Residents voiced their deep frustration over the ongoing problem of loud music disrupting their neighborhood’s peace and quiet. Although they praised the police for their efforts in providing a temporary solution, they were disappointed by how quickly the disturbances caused by noise returned soon after the police intervention.
Residents underlined how noise pollution negatively affects their quality of life and demanded stricter enforcement actions and long-term fixes. They emphasized how urgently long-term solutions were needed to stop the ongoing disruption.
Residents used the grievances meeting as a forum to address the authorities directly about their concerns and to press for prompt action to lessen the negative impacts of noise pollution in Anjuna.
