CURCHOREM: The annual procession of Our Lady of Fatima wounds its way after leaving from Guardian Angel church, Curchorem, to Tisk-Sanvordem via Curchorem and Sanvordem market on Thursday evening, where hundreds of devotees carrying lanterns, reciting the Rosary and singing hymns joined it.
The large congregation of devotees participated in the procession, which left the church after the Eucharistic celebration concelebrated by Fr. Franco Cardozo and Parish Priest Fr. Vital Miranda was welcomed by people of all faiths at Tisk-Sanvordem where a beautifully decorated pandal was set up.
In his homily,at Sanvordem. Fr. Cardozo informed that February 2 is a day of the Presentation of Jesus, which was also observed as consecrated life for the members of religious orders worldwide.
“Keep the Jesus Christ light burning in your life and share it with others,” said Fr. Cardozo and urged the parents to take the responsibilities, teach and give good values to children from their initial stage.
