VERNA: In a tragic development, another passenger, Bhim Kumar Yadav, succumbed to his injuries on Friday morning at GMC following the mini bus accident at Queeny Nagar junction.
According to sources, the 23-year-old Yadav was among the many passengers aboard the overcrowded bus that overturned on Thursday evening. His death marks the second fatality in the mishap, after the bus conductor, Shiv Madar, died on the spot.
The ill-fated bus, reportedly overloaded beyond its capacity, overturned at the Queeny Nagar junction, leaving more than 28 passengers injured. Sources added that at least five of the injured are in critical condition and are currently receiving treatment at the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC).
