BICHOLIM: About 100 people today marched towards the Bicholim police station demanding proper investigation and arrest of all the accused in the rape case of a minor girl.
It may be stated that Bicholim police had arrested 19-year-old Arman Khan from Muslimwada Bicholim in connection with raping a 15-year-old girl from Bicholim area.
The accused named about eight others who he claimed were also involved in the crime.
Following the development today in the evening Shailendra Velingkar along with Tara Kerkar, Aishwarya Salgaonkar, Vinayak Nanoskar and about 100 people from Bicholim went to the police station. After the discussion with the PI they submitted a memo demanding immediate arrest of the accused involved in the crime and to have DNA test of all the suspects.
