ARPORA-BAGA: Arpora Sarpanch Roshan Redkar has raised alarm over the growing number of illegal dance bars and nightclubs in the village, calling for their immediate shutdown. He revealed that unauthorized establishments are operating without necessary permissions, posing a serious threat to law and order.
Redkar specifically pointed out “Goa Night Club,” allegedly being run illegally in Baga-Arpora by Mrs. Ernestina Pereira without the required No Objection Certificate (NOC). He also recounted a shocking incident where touts approached him with illicit offers, asking, “Ladki chahiye kya?”
The Sarpanch has urged Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte, and Anjuna PI Suraj Gawas to take immediate action against these establishments.
