PANJIM: Terming the arrest of Congress Workers arrest as “Illegal”, the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) to hold protest in front of Panjim Police Station if the arrested workers are not released before 11 am.
GPCC has cleared that the workers would not be applying for bail.
“If illegally arrested office bearers are not released by 11am Congress to protest in front of Panjim police station. Not to move bail,” GPCC President Chodankar said in a statement
Leaders including Goa Pradesh Youth Congress Committee President Varad Mardolkar, office bearer Janardhan Bhandari and others allegedly protested after they were denied to meet Javadekar.
