VERNA: Verna Police have registered an offence against two residents of Arrosim for allegedly threatening, harassing and abusing a physically challenged man and his wife over a property-related dispute.
The case was registered on a complaint filed by Gabriel Anthony Braganza, a resident of Arrosim, Cansaulim. According to police, the incident occurred on August 4, 2025, at TNK, Arrosim, Cansaulim, where the accused Joseph Gomes and Rosy Barretto, both residents of Arrosim, Cansaulim, allegedly threatened, harassed and verbally abused the complainant and his wife.
Police said the complainant is a physically handicapped person, and the incident arose over a property dispute.
Further investigation in the case is in progress with PSI Ramchandra of Verna Police Station.
