PANAJI: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will embark on a two-day visit to Goa on May 9 and 10, marking his first appearance in the State since the party’s recent electoral defeat in Delhi.
AAP Goa president Amit Palekar confirmed that during his visit, Kejriwal will inaugurate the party’s office in the Santa Cruz Assembly constituency on May 10. He will also launch “Amche Arogya Polyclinic,” a free medical facility aimed at benefiting residents of the Santa Cruz area.
In addition to these events, Kejriwal is expected to hold meetings with prominent AAP leaders from the State to review the party’s activities and strategize ahead of the 2027 Goa Assembly elections.
This visit follows a March trip by AAP national leader Atishi Marlena, during which she declared the party’s decision to contest the next State elections independently.
