PANAJI: Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal will visit Goa on October 4 and 5 to review the party’s expansion strategy and mobilise support ahead of the upcoming Zilla Panchayat elections.
AAP leaders said the visit is aimed at strengthening grassroots engagement and boosting the morale of volunteers across the state.
AAP Goa president Amit Palekar said Goans are “frustrated with the BJP’s growing Gundaraj and politics of fear,” and that Kejriwal’s visit would “emphasise the need for clean, transparent governance and politics focused on real work.”
Party general secretary (organisation) Shrikrishna Parab added that the team has been fighting for basic services like roads and water, and Kejriwal’s presence would be “a shot in the arm for volunteers resisting the BJP’s misdeeds.”
During his two-day tour, Kejriwal will hold strategy meetings with party leaders and address two large volunteer gatherings — one in Mapusa (North Goa) and another in Curtorim (South Goa).
