At that time, educated youth from various villages came together and led this movement. The core issue of this Sangh was both labor and education. In the beginning we gradually decided to meet the needy students, guide them and take measures on education.
Later, from 1998 onwards, this Sangh fully supported the GAKUVED movement. In the year 2000, the 1st convention of the organization was held in Canacona. At that time many delegations went to Delhi, and our team also represented. Many meetings were held and many solutions and activities were planned at Canacona at that time. In due course after getting a ministerial position in the government, I tried reasonably to do full justice to my community. Others gave us the title of “backward”, but we successfully tried to move forward. Shramdham concept needs strong manpower to continue’.

If our man is representing him at the center, in the state as well, we should all come together to support him. If a project comes up, if our competent workers or hardworking brothers work honestly, it will definitely be considered, everyone should be alert for that. I am determined to empower my hardworking workers by bringing small projects to us, be it from the center or the state. Therefore, every problem in the village can be solved’, Tawadkar assured.
‘Through the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, many issues have been organized in the country, how do we utilize it and we have to create competent manpower for it is our capacity. At least one event should be held every month through Adarsh Yuva Sangh and through that Adarsh Yuva Sangh will be known as an active organization in Goa and through that my worker will become active. One demand is that in the next five to ten years, all the workers should unite and organize themselves and be ready to save the society.’
