VALPOI: Goa Police have launched an investigation after an attempted kidnapping of a 12-year-old boy was reported from Bhuipal, Honda, Sattari.
According to police, a written complaint was received from the boy’s father at 1:52 a.m. on October 6, 2025, stating that on October 5, 2025, before 8:30 a.m., unknown persons travelling in a white Maruti Suzuki Omni tried to abduct his son near Baikaden, Bhuipal while he was returning home from his aunt’s residence.
The minor resisted the attempt by biting one of the accused on the hand, following which the attacker allegedly injured the boy’s right forearm before he managed to escape from the spot.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is in progress to identify and trace the suspects.
