According to the notification issued by the Law Department, the Court of District Judge–1 and the Additional Sessions Judge at both Panaji and Margao have been designated as Special Courts under the Goa Land Grab Cases (Special Courts) Act, 2023. According to Maina-Curtorim police, the deceased, identified as Fatima, was initially rushed to the South Goa District Hospital before being referred to GMC. Despite medical intervention, she succumbed to the bite.
