Team Goemkarponn CORTALIM: A 30-year-old man from Assam, identified as Anup Saha, lost his life in a self-accident while riding his two-wheeler near Bandaivoilo Khuris, Cortalim, on his way towards Verna. The incident came to light after Casualty staff at GMC Bambolim informed the police that the victim had been brought in dead following the accident. The accused, a 51-year-old resident of Arambol in Pernem, had earlier been arrested in 2021 for the murder of a Russian woman and was out on bail. Ahmedabad: In a tragic incident, Air India flight AI-171, en route to London’s Gatwick Airport with 232 passengers and 12 crew members, crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad airport on Thursday.
