VERNA: A heated altercation over vehicle damage turned violent, when a man was assaulted with a knife near the Cipla Company in Verna Industrial Estate. According to the Verna Police, the incident occurred around 12:30 PM when the complainant, Sunil Pujari, a resident of Budhwar Peth, Ponda, confronted the accused, Balaji Waghmare, from Nimgao Ketki Majiwada, Maharashtra, regarding damage to his vehicle.
