Team Goemkarponn MAPUSA: A resident of Morod has been taken into custody by Mapusa Police on suspicion of beating a woman and her driver over a car’s movement. Jaffar Garodi has been recognized as the accused. Police said that Anand Krishna Khobrekar filed a complaint alleging that the accused had threatened to harm his driver Pramod Uttam Korgaonkar and his daughter Sneha Kadam. According to the lawsuit, he also publicly disparaged the woman’s modesty. A formal complaint has been filed. Under BNS sections 52, 79, 118(1), and 351(3), and Head Constable Abhijit Mangoankar is looking into the matter.
