Team Goemkarponn PERNEM: A hand tractor unintentionally ran over a 68-year-old farmer from Kotkarwada in Pernem on Tuesday, killing him. Ulhas Kotkar was working in his field when the event happened. He suffered severe injuries when the hand tractor toppled on him while he was at work. After being moved to the Pernem Health Center, he was pronounced dead upon arrival. The body was given to family members for last rites after being transferred to the GMC hospital in Bambolim for an autopsy.
