Team Goemkarponn PANAJI: Indo-Srilankan Open Karate Championship – 2024 was organized by the World Modern Shotokan Association, Goa at Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium, Navelim, Salcete, Goa. About 700 participants from Srilanka and various states from India like Goa, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, West Bengal & Utter Pradesh participated in this Indo-Srilanka Championship. Master Rayesh Rajendra Naik of Japan Shotokan Karate India, Goa won the GOLD MEDAL in the under 9 years category. Team Goemkarponn PANAJI: In light of the state’s continuing cash-for-job fraud, the Goa Staff Selection Commission will soon begin advertising for 1,925 open positions in various government agencies. According to officials on Sunday, the Education Department has posted 36 openings for qualified English teachers so far this year through the Staff Selection Commission, and the chosen applicants have already been offered positions. The police claim that a young Karwar girl was summoned to Tisk-Usgao for marriage.
