Team Goemkarponn MARGAO: Under the leadership of PSI Swadesh Dessai, the Margao police filed a complaint on behalf of the State, claiming that Shahid Bepari, the accused, was apprehended illegally in possession of 255 grams of greenish-colored fruiting and flowering tops of plants suspected of being ganja on November 5 between 14:15 and 16:00 in the vicinity of the Naaz Hotel in Khareband, Margao, Goa. Team Goemkarponn PANAJI: A 41-year-old male from Socorro has been charged by the Porvorim Police with using derogatory words against a woman and insulting her modesty. Police claim that on November 5 morning, the accused Jitendra Halarnkar, who was approaching from the opposite direction, drove his automobile recklessly and rashly, blocking the complainant’s path close to Defence Colony, Porvorim, as she was driving on the internal route. The defendant climbed out of his car, rushed at the plaintiff, and violently and profanely assaulted her.
