TEAM GOEMKARPONN MARGAO: Curchorem police have taken into custody Richu Mahendran Pillai, a resident of Aquem, Margão, as the third accused in the 8.47 kg of ganja that was seized and is being looked into by the Curchorem police. According to the police, the accused is purportedly the primary link in the drug supply chain. According to a press release from the South Goa District Superintendent of Police’s Office, the accused was meant to pick up the seized cargo in Goa and dispose of it accordingly. Judicial First Class Margao has placed him under three days of police remand.
