MUMBAI: Over 50 hospitals in Mumbai and at least 41 airports across the country went on a tizzy following bomb threats in the last 24 hours. The threats were delivered to establishments like Jaslok Hospital, Raheja Hospital, Seven Hills Hospital, Kohinoor Hospital, KEM Hospital, JJ Hospital, and St George Hospital, through emails sent from a virtual private network (VPN) that doesn’t allow tracing the sender. Police are investigating the matter to identify those responsible and understand their motives. NEW DELHI: Since the start of the monsoon season on June 1, India has received 20 per cent less rainfall, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The weather department stated that current conditions support the monsoon’s advancement into parts of Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, northwest Bay of Bengal, Bihar, and Jharkhand in the next three to four days. Jerusalem: Diplomats on Tuesday said at least 550 pilgrims died during the hajj, underscoring the gruelling nature of the pilgrimage which again unfolded in scorching temperatures this year.
