BENGALURU: The National Investigation Agency on Tuesday detained one person for questioning in Bengaluru’s Rameshwaram Cafe blast case. The suspect, identified as Shabbir, belongs to Cowl Bazaar area in Ballari. The probe agency suspects Shabbir of having knowledge about the blast and detained him on the basis of his recent travel history. MOSCOW: President Vladimir Putin warned the West on Wednesday that Russia was technically ready for nuclear war and that if the U.S. sent troops to Ukraine it would be considered a significant escalation of the war. New Delhi: Two days after a rap by the Supreme Court in the electoral bonds case, the State Bank of India (SBI) filed an affidavit today, informing that it had submitted data on the bonds to the Election Commission of India (EC). The SBI has said in its compliance affidavit that it has submitted the data to the poll body in a pen drive. The data, it has said, is on two PDF files that are password-protected.
