Thiruvananthapuram: The National Green Tribunal has directed the state of Kerala to adopt the Goa model for solid waste management, according to guidelines provided by the tribunal. A team appointed by the Kerala State Pollution Control Board recently visited Goa to study the successful implementation of the model and has prepared a report. Since 2018, a case related to the reduction of waste in rivers has been under consideration at the Green Tribunal. Goemkarponn desk OLD GOA: Joydahan Bharali has been placed under arrest for ten days in relation to the Corlim murder of fellow labourer Tapan Tiwari. The accused Bharali is suspected of stabbing the deceased Tiwari to death with a scissor following an argument on Sunday night between the two after they had consumed alcohol. Meanwhile, the deceased’s post-mortem examination showed that shock and bleeding from an incisive puncture that damaged an underlying important organ were the cause of death.
