Following people’s protest the Village panchayat of Guleli, has rejected NOC for the IIT Goa compound wall project. Pernem: Pernem police arrested two Russian nationals for growing cannabis in their rented apartment at Gawdewada, Mandrem and selling it to buyers. The police also seized canabis worth Rs 3.5 lakhs. The two arrested were Aleksei Perevalov (age 31 years) and Aleksei Rebriev (age 41 years).
