Team Goemkarponn PORVORIM: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) registered a resounding victory in both Penha de França and Succoro Zilla Panchayat constituencies under the Porvorim Assembly segment, defeating the Congress by huge margins and securing a combined lead of 10,426 votes. In Penha de França, BJP candidate Sandeep Salgaonkar defeated Congress nominee Eldric D’Souza by 4,739 votes. Salgaonkar polled 7,511 votes, while D’Souza managed 2,772 votes. New Delhi: IndiGo has announced that it will begin issuing travel vouchers worth Rs 10,000 to passengers who were severely affected by large scale flight cancellations earlier this month. The compensation process will start from December 26 and is aimed at customers who were stranded at airports for several hours between December 3 and December 5.
