Team Goemkarponn MARGAO: The Margao Additional Sessions Court has acquitted all five accused in the 2019 Motidongor murder case of 24-year-old Anwar Shaikh. Those acquitted are Nagraj Naikar, Jagesh Metti, Sadashiv Metti, Basuraj Kaddi and Manjunath Metti, who were charged with murdering Shaikh at Motidongor, Margao, on December 27, 2019. Team Goemkarponn PANAJI: Goa’s agriculture sector and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are expected to require institutional credit amounting to ₹16,512 crore during the financial year 2026–27, as per projections made by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). This represents a rise of nearly 29 per cent compared to the estimated credit demand of around ₹12,800 crore in the current year. New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party recorded a significant surge in political donations during the 2024–25 financial year, receiving Rs 6,654.93 crore, its highest collection in the last five years. The figure marks a sharp rise of about 68 percent compared to the previous year and coincides with a period marked by Lok Sabha elections and multiple Assembly polls across the country.
