PANJIM: Goa registered the highest single day spike with 258 cases on Monday. While also witnessing another Covid death taking the toll to 36. 133 patients also recovered on Monday. As per the Health bulletin, there are 5119 confirmed cases with 3410 recoveries. As on date the active cases are now 1673. With seven more cases on Monday, the capital city of Panjim now has a total of 58 confirmed cases out of which five have recovered. Following heated arguments in the House over the Labourgate scam, the Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant said that the departmental inquiry has been initiated into the alleged fake beneficiaries of financial assistance provided to registered labour.
