The COVID19 virus seems to sparing none as the Directorate of Health Services, Dr Jose D’Sa has now tested positive for the virus. Sources said that the director is asymptomatic and has been admitted in Manipal Hospital. He has slight fever, sources revealed. The department has started contact tracing of the officer and all the top officers in health and GMC will be tested for COVID19. Dr D’Sa was in constant touch with Health Minister Vishwajit Rane and GMC dean Dr Shivanand Bandekar.

The Bombay High Court at Goa on Tuesday admitted the public interest litigation filed over non-functioning of the District Mineral Foundation (DMF). The division bench comprising Justice M.S. Sonak and Justice Dama Seshadri Naidu directed State government to file an affidavit in respond to a PIL within two weeks.
