PANJIM:In a bid to put an end to the growing opposition to the proposed IIT project at Melauli village in Sattari taluka, the State Cabinet today resolved to drop 45,000 sq mtrs of land, comprising of age-old temple, from the project. PANJIM:As many as four private hospitals in the state have come on board to treat COVID-19 patients, even as the State is gearing up to set up third dedicated COVID-19 hospital. Sawant told reporters that the IFFI will be held as per schedule. The IFFI is annually held between November 20 to 28. PANJIM: Goa has topped in terms of the highest Covid-19 tests carried out so far at 94,773 tests per million as on August 11, while Delhi comes second but far below Goa as it has so far recorded 65,397 tests per million.
