Around 200 residents of the containment zone in Zuarinagar demanded freedom from the containment zone as no proper food supplies were provided nor mass testing was being carried out. The residents alleged that neither panchayat members nor the MLA Alina Saldanha were sympathetic to their issues. “Our MLA has even refused to meet us. After recording seven deaths and 579 positive cases in last three days, Goa got some respite as 168 cases were reported on Tuesday with no deaths. The recoveries were also more than positive cases.
