With 16 people succumbing so far in the State due COVID19, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Monday said the co-morbid conditions of the patients to be blamed for the deaths. “See, 4-5 patients had cancer and co-morbid condition, besides eight to 10 had co-morbid conditions and were above 75 to 80 years,” he said. The North district collector has declared Fattawada, Nerul as a containment zone and some areas outside as as buffer zone after rise in COVID19 positive cases.

After four consecutive 100-plus cases in last four days, the State on Sunday the COVID19 count in Goa came down to 85 yet the two deaths in the death has become a matter of concern for the citizens as the toll is now up to 14.
