Team Goemkarponn CANACONA: The Town and Country Planning Department has lodged a complaint against a Canacona resident for allegedly carrying out illegal land filling in Chaudi village without mandatory permissions. According to the complaint filed by Vinay Fal Dessai, Draftsman Grade-II with the TCP Department, the accused, Pratik Prakash Dessai of Ponsulem, undertook land filling activity in Chaudi prior to September 18 without obtaining approval from the competent authority. Police have registered a case for the violation, and further investigation is being conducted by PSI Ajit Velip of Canacona Police Station.

Team Goemkarponn VELIM: A resident of Caroi, Velim has been booked after his dog allegedly bit a woman due to negligent handling. The complaint, filed by Leny D’Silva of Velim, states that on November 19 at around 7:30 pm, the accused, Cajephor Pereira of Caroi, failed to take necessary precautions to control his dog, which was reportedly furious at the time.
