Team Goemkarponn COLVA: Colva Police are conducting an inquiry after a Year-old man was declared dead at the District Hospital, Margao, on Monday evening. At around 7:30 pm on 24 November 2025, police received a call from the hospital casualty informing that Birendra Soreng, aged 43 and a resident of Simdega, Jharkhand, had been brought in by a 108 ambulance from Varca. Canacona Police received a call from CHC Canacona at around 9:17 am on 25 November 2025, informing that a man had been brought dead to the casualty ward. Team Goemkarponn MARGAO: An Udupi native was injured in a stabbing incident in Margao after a heated argument escalated into violence near Sahi Darbar Hotel. Margao Town Police registered Crime No. 104/2025 under Section 118(2) of the BNS 2023 based on a state complaint filed by ASI Santosh Gaonkar. Police said that around 7:30 pm on 24 November, the victim, Mohammed Ibrahim, was stabbed below the left side of his chest by an unidentified person during a quarrel.
