New Delhi: India has issued a fresh travel advisory urging its nationals to avoid all non essential travel to Israel in view of the prevailing security situation in the region. Indian citizens currently in Israel have been advised to remain alert at all times and strictly follow safety instructions issued by local authorities and the Home Front Command.
The Indian Embassy in Tel Aviv has called on nationals to closely monitor official advisories and adhere to established safety protocols. Citizens have also been advised to stay connected with the embassy and be prepared to respond promptly to any emergency developments. Emergency helpline numbers and official contact channels have been made available for assistance.
The advisory comes against the backdrop of rising tensions in Iran, where unrest and protests have intensified, leading to widespread clashes and a significant loss of life. The evolving situation has raised regional security concerns, prompting India to issue parallel advisories for its nationals in Iran.
Earlier, Indian authorities urged citizens to avoid travel to Iran until further notice. Those already present in the country have been advised to leave at the earliest opportunity using available commercial flights. Indian nationals in Iran have also been cautioned to avoid protest areas, remain vigilant, and keep travel and identity documents readily accessible.
Indian missions in the region have reiterated the importance of staying in regular contact with embassy officials and following updates through official communication channels. Citizens who have not registered with the embassy have been encouraged to do so to enable timely assistance if required.
Diplomatic engagement has continued alongside these advisories, with Indian leadership maintaining communication with regional counterparts to assess the evolving situation. The government has emphasized that the safety and security of Indian nationals abroad remains a top priority amid increasing volatility in parts of West Asia.
With regional tensions showing no immediate signs of easing, Indian citizens have been advised to exercise heightened caution, defer non essential travel plans, and remain informed through official advisories issued by Indian diplomatic missions and the Ministry of External Affairs.
