Vasco: An awareness meet on the relevance of CCTV cameras was organised by the Vasco police on Tuesday evening. Prominent citizens, along with the businessmen, shopkeepers and elderly citizens, were given inputs on how the CCTV cameras will help in terms of security.
One resident of Vasco who had attended the meeting said that the awareness talk was very informative, and it gave us information on how CCTV cameras play an important role in surveillance. We will surely support the initiative of PI Rane.
Another citizen said that we were informed how installing CCTV cameras in business establishments, shops, and road junctions will benefit the citizens during this talk. CCTV cameras will play a crucial role in tracking suspicious activities, crime rates, and identifying persons.
He further said that we also feel that CCTV cameras installed at some elevated position that will cover the roads will also help regulate traffic, keep watch on accidents, etc. It was god initiative by the Vasco police,” he added.
